Photo Hunters: Sweet

Published by under Photo Hunter,Photography

This week’s theme is Sweet. What can be sweeter than this little munchkin??? : )

This photo was taken when we were upgrading from her infant carseat to her toddler carseat. She was so happy with her huge comfortable UFO-like seat ‘cos her infant seat was getting too tight for her. Pretty soon, we’ll be upgrading her to a booster seat…..*sigh*……..she’s growing up too fast!!!

Photo Hunters: Shiny

Published by under Photo Hunter,Photography

This week’s theme for Photo Hunters is Shiny. My first thought was jewelry. After digging thru’ whatever little I have, I realised that I don’t have any shiny jewelry!!!! : ( My 10th wedding anniversary is coming up end of the year. Time to hint, hint to the hubby, right???? : p

Anyway, this is what I came up with: A shiny coin!

This is actually a USD1 coin. Not really common. I can’t remember when I got it. Hopefully one day, it’s going to worth much more than the face value…hahaha….

Photo Hunters: Shoes

Published by under Photo Hunter,Photography

I was cracking my head trying to figure out what kind of photo to put up for this week’s theme. After all, shoes are shoes, it’s not that interesting, right? So I looked thru’ my shoe shelf & found this pair of cute shoes.

My little girl’s rain boots! This is the first thing I bought for her when we moved to the Pacific Northwest ‘cos it rains so much here. She loves to wear it & jump in the water puddles. : )

Answer: they are SLIDES!!! or at least I think that’s what they are. : )

We just move into this new neighborhood & when I saw that they have a play area in the community plan, I was very excited. Another place for Lil’ C to hang out if we get bored at home. So we waited & waited …… and finally after 2 months, they finally set up the play area. So, after dinner, DH, Lil’ C & me happily went to check it out. But when we got there, we saw those structures, we were dumbfounded!! What were those things? Were they incomplete? or upside-down? There was also another equally confused daddy there with a 22 mth gal.

I know I am not the most happening mommy but duh…… how do u expect a 2 yr old to play with this canggih (sophisticated) thing!! Sometimes I do wonder what the community planner/designer is thinking!!! At least put in a playground that everyone can use, not one that is for older kids only!! I’ve noticed that most of the kids in this area are probably under 5 , so this playground will probably end up as a white elephant…… *sigh* what a waste of space & $!!!!

P/S: we finally figured out how to use the 1st slide when a 12-13 yr old girl came by & used the slide. In case u are just as sua-ku (country bumpkin) as me : ) , the girl sat sideways on top & slide down. Definitely not safe for a kid < 6 or 7!!!

Photo Hunters: Art

Published by under Photo Hunter,Photography

Isn’t this a beautiful art ??? *grin* This is my potrait as drawn by my precious 30 month old. Never mind that I look like an alien with hands like Edward Scissorhands, to me, this is the most beautiful picture I’ve ever seen. Like they say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”!! : )
