Photo Hunters: Dirty

Published by under Photo Hunter,Photography

I have to admit this week’s had me stumped for a while because I realised I don’t have any “dirty” pictures in my collection.  I didn’t want to miss the Photohunt, so I went around my neighbourhood trying to take a dirty photo and you know what I learned? I learned that my neighbourhood is pretty clean!! LOL!

Anyway, I finally managed to something that will fit this week’s theme and it was right in my garage! This is my gal’s rain boots. I guess someone’s been having fun stomping in the mud!! :)

Looking for home heaters?

Published by under I,Useful Links

I love fireplaces and since it gets pretty cold here in the winter, I use my fireplace a lot. However, I don’t have a fireplace in my basement, so I have been thinking about getting a wall heater. I was searching on the internet when I came upon Online Outlet Store. They offer a wide range of both indoor and outdoor heaters. Their products include fireplaces, stoves, wall heaters, and even patio heaters. I think my husband would love a patio heater so that he can do some grilling in the winter. LOL! The vent free garage heaters look really interesting too. Maybe I should get that one for my home. Do you need some home heating for the winter? Don’t forget to check them out for your heating supplies.

Any plans for the weekends?

Published by under Rambling

It’s the Labor Day weekend!! That means 3 day weekend!! Yeah!!  Initially we wanted to get out of town but then decided that we are not brave enough to fight with the traffic and crowds out there. We probably end up hitting the local beach if the weather stays nice, get some BBQ going & maybe explore some local spots. Have a great weekend everyone!! :)

Shop at Online Discount Mart

Published by under I,Useful Links

Summer is coming to an end soon and that means its shopping time again! I love to stock up on summer products for next summer. Why pay full-price next year when I can get it cheap this year, right? I just discovered that Online Discount Mart has some great summer products on sale. Wow, check out their cute rain gauges collection. I think the Owl Rain Gauge will look great in my garden. Oh, while you are shopping for your summer products, you might want to check out their fall items too especially the Halloween and Christmas items. You might as well beat the rush and shop early!

Mystery Stats!

Published by under Rambling

I don’t check my statcounter very often but when I am free, I do try to check it. Yesterday, I had some free time so I decided to check it. To my surprise, I find that out of all my 3 blogs, my food blog KookyCulinary has the highest number of visitors and unique visitors too! Very interesting!! I’m surprised because the Alexa is the highest & visitor count is the lowest for that blog. Hmmm….. I guess I really don’t understand how they calculate all the stats!!

Looking for online storage and backup?

Published by under I

Ever since I started actively blogging, I always have this fear that one day something weird would happen and I would lose all the information in my blogs. That’s why I am always on a lookout for a good online storage system and I think I just found my solution in IBackup.

What sets IBackup apart from the other companies is the way their online data is being stored. You can actually map the online data to a folder on your own computer and that allows for easy drag-n-drop and ease of use.  Performance-wise, IBackup outperforms other competitors by at least 30%.

What about you? Are you worried about losing all your data? Well, don’t worry anymore! Check out IBackup for your online backup solutions.

Leavenworth, Washington

Published by under Travel

Leavenworth is also known as Washington’s Bavarian Village. It’s a cute little town nestled in a valley about 2 1/2 hours from Seattle.  It is basically a tourist town modeled after Bavaria, Germany.

Cute welcoming sign!

Horse carriage rides for the ever-willing-to-pay tourist :D

Some of their cute buildings!

Look, even McDonalds look different from the norm. :)

Being the foodie that we are, we had to have some German food there. We had bratswurst & rotisserie pork hock. Too bad we didn’t take a photo. They actually had a rotisserie stove with all the pork hocks rotating in it. Kinda cool. :D
