I’ve heard a lot about corn maze but never hay maze. We were at an October Festival last week and that’s where we found this hay maze.

It’s just like the corn maze except much shorter. I guess it’s more for the younger kids. Anyway, the kids had so much fun wandering around the maze and getting lost. Lil’ C was enjoying herself so much that we had a hard time getting her to leave. Why didn’t I ever had this much fun when I was young??

Last summer, a group of us went up to the Smoky Mountains for our summer vacation. We had so much fun that we are planning to go back for another vacation next summer. Last time we stayed in Gatlinburg but this time, we will probably rent a couple of Pigeon Forge cabins. I just love staying in cabins, especially those that have hot tubs on the balcony facing the gorgeous mountain views. I wonder if they have any new attractions in Pigeon Forge. We missed visiting Dollywood last summer, so we will definitely visit this time.

The last time I went to Las Vegas, it was 20 years ago. I am sure that it is totally different now. I would love to visit again to see the changes. With the holiday season coming up, maybe it’s time for me to plan a trip to Las Vegas. I heard that the Stratosphere is a good place to stay. I am sure that my daughter would love the observation tower, the tallest building in the West. As for me, shopping and catching a show will be at the top of my list. I hope that my travel plan will work out!

It has just been a whirlwind day today. The day didn’t start off well because we woke up late. So we had to rush to school. Trying to rush a toddler out of the house is probably one of the most stressful thing that I’ve ever done! Not kidding!! After school, we had a playdate at Lil’ C’s friend’s house. Then we came home and luckily I managed to get her to nap for a little. After waking her up from her nap, we went to a neighbor’s house for a Halloween costume party after which the entire party went trick-or-treating together around the neighborhood. It was fun but definitely chaotic because it was such a big group. By the time we’re done, everyone’s exhausted. We came home with more than 1 pound of candy!! What am I suppose to do with them?? Just glad the day’s over!!

Are you planning for a wedding? If you are, then I am sure that you have a long checklist of the things to do. Cakes and wedding gowns are no doubt important but don’t forget about lighting too. After all, you would not want a wedding in the dark, would you?
The LED string lights will be perfect for your wedding lights. They consume 80% less energy than the regular incandescent lights. They are also cool to the touch which makes them safe. You don’t have to worry about not having enough lights because you can connect up to 125 strings. These LED lights are so long-lasting that after the wedding is over, you can even keep them and use them for other holiday decorating.

A 5.6 earthquake just hit Northern California 5 hours ago. The epicenter was about 9 miles NE of San Jose. According to this mommy, everything’s ok. I haven’t heard from some of my other friends yet. Hopefully everyone’s ok. I experienced an earthquake once few years ago and it was pretty scary.

Since my parents live halfway across the world from where I live, they only see my daughter once every year. They miss her so much and would love to see more of her. That’s why when I came across the photo blanket from Vision Bedding, I immediately thought of my parents. The photo blanket will make a great gift for them. I love the variety of layout options available and I can use up to 16 photos for a blanket.

Ordering a photo blanket is so easy. All I have to do is to upload or email the photos to Vision Bedding and they will take about 3-7 business days to make the photo blankets. Vision Bedding also offers photo bedding, photo pillows and even photo dog beds. Maybe I should include some photo pillows as well. I am sure that they will love it. I guess I better start sorting through my daughter’s photos and choose the best ones for making the photo blanket

After months of procrastinating, I finally bought a new compact camera to replace my broken one. There are so many models available till I got so confused. But finally I decided to get the Canon SD850. It may not be the thinnest or smallest model but the reason I bought it is because of the image stabilization factor. Last year I bought a SD650 and many photos turn out shaky. That’s why to me, image stabilization is the most important priority. So far, this camera has proven to be a good buy. Photos are coming out really nice.

I am planning to get a new stroller for my toddler since her current one is getting too small for her. Out of all the strollers I have seen so far, my favorite is definitely the Mutsy stroller. I love the sleek modern look of the stroller. Currently there are 5 models available. I also love the interchangeability within the Mutsy product line. If you are looking for a stroller, don’t forget to drop by their local retailer and test the out.
