Photo Hunter: Metal
Filed Under (Photo Hunter, Photography) by BlurMommy on 21-03-2008

It seems like it has been a long time since I did Photo Hunters. It’s good to be back. For this week’s theme, I thought I would show a couple of bridges here in the Pacific Northwest.
This one’s called The Bridge of the Gods. It spans the Columbia River between Washington and Oregon.

This is the Deception Pass Bridge. It connects Whidbey Island to Fidalgo Island in Washington.

A close up of the Deception Pass Bridge.

Hope you enjoyed the photos. Thanks for visiting my PhotoHunt. Have a great weekend.

These bridges are a great idea for metal! I love the shot of the bridge over deception pass. I’m in Washington for a couple of weeks for Easter. Will be headed back to California soon.
have a great Easter weekend.
What a brilliant take on this week’s theme. Happy weekend!
Those are great shots for the theme. I love bridges and the ones you shot are so impressive looking. Hope you have a great weekend.
Beautiful shots of those bridges. You did great taking those angle shots.
Perfectly wonderful shots for this week’s theme. I know them both since I live in Vancouver, BC that is. Happy Weekend
Amazing bridge design and architecture.
Amazing brilliant structures
The third picture is real cool.
Happy Easter!
Wow! A lot of metal on those pretty bridges. Looks like only small boats can go under the Deception Pass Bridge.
Those are beauitful. I am always amazed at the minds that figure out how to make structures like that.
I am impressed.
Love the third one!
Happy Easter!
Those are some neat bridges. We have nothing like that here in Eastern Colorado.
Those are amazing shots. I always salute architects and also those who build bridges (or high rise buildings).. Anyway, Happy Easter (=
Great shots of the girders of all those bridges. I’m looking forward to seeing Whidbey Island one of these days. I hear there are lots of beautiful places to see and great B & Bs.
I love bridges….these are wonderful. great choice.
happy weekend.
That is such a great bridge. Thanks for sharing!

I like them all, looks dramatic.
Yo… haven’t seen you for some time… where you disappear to? Good thing you visit me on your return. hehe… *hugs*
I would love to take a walk on those bridges! might take me a long time on such long bridges!
Cool bridges shots you have here. You mentioned about the Deception Pass Bridge and the first thing that came into my mind was Transformers. Both are metals too.. haha
that is indeed metallic! happy easter in advance
That’s a lot of metal, and surely makes the bridge safer, but I am still scared of bridges.
My metal is here.
What a fantastic metal post.
