I was going through my photos when I came across these photos of Lil’ C’s first dentist visit. This was taken at the end of January.
Here she is waiting for the dentist. Look at the cool glasses that they gave her to wear. On her left hand, she’s holding the new toothbrush they gave her. She’s actually holding on to the toothpaste on her right hand.
First the dental hygienist cleaned & polished her teeth. She was so excited because the dental hygienist told her that she was putting princess sparkles on her teeth!! 
Then rinse & gargle. Finally the dentist came by and checked for cavities. The result: No cavities! Yeah!
Look at how happy she was talking to the dentist! She had so much fun going to the dentist. So different from my own experience. I remember I had to be bribed and dragged screaming & crying to the dentist!!In case you are wondering, I did prepare her for the dentist visit by reading her this book - Dora’s Show Me Your Smile. I think it really helps because at least she knows what to expect at the visit and not be afraid.

I have that same book too! Been prepping Belle for almost 5 mths. Now, if only I could bring her in to a dental appt with me (which is tomorrow). I want her to look at how it is being done.

What nice shots you’ve captured of this first experience, and especially love the one of C chuckling! Haha, the dental hygienist sure had a way with little girls… princess sparkles =)

wah so fun and happy going to dentist. i dunno how to prepare my boy for his first dental visit … but at 26.5 months, his teeth are not fully out yet. i hope by the time he turns 3, he can understand about teeth hygiene.
