Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm at Sequim

Published by at 10:14 pm under Local Activities,Pacific Northwest,Travel

Every year I look forward to 2 months – April & July. Why? Because the tulips bloom in April and the lavenders bloom in July. Every year I always try to visit the tulip & lavender farms. I never seem to get tired of it. The lavender farms are not as colorful as the tulip farms but they definitely smell a lot better. Imagine a whole field filled with the fragrance of lavender….. Mmmmm ….. :)

This year we were a little early to the lavender farms because I wanted to bring my parents there before they leave. The lavenders were not in full bloom, so we only saw a couple of patches of lavender instead of the entire field. They were still pretty though.

Apparently ladybugs love lavenders too! There were a lot of ladybugs amongst the lavenders that day.

Those purple flowers are lovely from afar but they are more beautiful up close.
