Bad news at the airport

We actually do not mind the snowstorm because we have no travel plans for Christmas. However thousands of people are probably really upset with the snowstorm because they are stranded at the airport now. A lot of flights have been cancelled due to the weather. Thank goodness we cancelled our travel plans otherwise we might be one of those stranded at the airport. Originally we wanted to go to CA for Christmas but changed our mind because of the expensive tickets.
Unfortunately it is probably one of the busiest time at the airport this time of the year since everyone is trying to get home for Christmas. It seems like many of them ended up sleeping at the airport since the local hotels nearby are all full. Apparently they are also running out of food at the since the food deliveries are not getting there. Gee, I really hope that they can get this mess sorted out and get everyone and their luggage home in time for Christmas.
Oh yea, luckily you guys aren’t traveling. We managed to pick up both my cousin and her friend at the same time, but my poor cousin’s luggage didn’t get transfer from Chicago. Thank goodness, she managed to pack couple of clothings in her carry-on.
