For this week’s theme “furry”, meet my furry friend! Cute, eh? Looks so huggable but I would probably stay far away. This was taken at Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Washington.

Another cute furry friend but this one’s definitely huggable if only she would sit still! : P

Thanks for visiting my PhotoHunt. Happy hunting & have a great weekend, everyone!

It’s Friday again! Where did the week go? It has been so crazy this week that I am so ready for the weekend. We don’t really have any plans this weekend. We’ll probably just hang around at home and relax. I should also get B to fix the broken blinds. That’s what we get for putting up Cheap Blinds. They break so easily. If the weather is nice, we might just head up the mountain for some sledding. What about you? Any weekend plans? : )

Oh, where are you, Mr UPS??? After a long wait, I finally managed to snag a Wii Fit
at Amazon on Tuesday. Yes, I know I could have easily gotten one at some other sites but the stingy frugal me refuse to pay more than the MRSP. I have Amazon Prime which means 2 day free shipping. That means that it should arrive sometime today. I wish Mr UPS would hurry up!!

I have been using this theme for this blog for more than a year already and it’s about time for a makeover! The problem is that I am always hesitant to change theme or upgrade because you’ll never know what will happen when you do that. BUT I am getting tired of this theme, so I am just going to do it hoping that nothing will go wrong. So pardon the dust *cough cough* while I do a little dusting & renovating. : )

It’s going to be Chinese New Year on Monday & I haven’t done a thing!!! I wanted to bake some cookies for friends since I miss the Christmas baking due to the snowstorm. It’s already Thursday, so that means it’s going to be a baking marathon this weekend. I am planning to bake 3 or 4 types of cookies. Will post them up in my food blog when I am done.

Ok, I confess, I am a major procrastinator! One of my resolutions this year is to get rid of this bad habit and start planning ahead. To fufill this resolution, last week I began to make our summer plans. This summer we plan to do a few camping trips so I tried to book our first campsite and guess what?????? They are all fully booked!!! All the way till October!!! Grrr… so much for planning ahead. I think I will have to plan 2 years ahead! ok, moving on to Plan B . . . .

These were taken when we were on vacation in California 2 years ago. It was in one of those crazy hat store at Pier 39 in Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco. The little one loved trying on all the funny HATS.
She loves this colorful hat

But not quite sure what to do with this lobster hat! : P

If you happen to have Keebler or Austin peanut butter sandwich crackers in your house, take note. Kellogg is taking all those peanut butter sandwich crackers off the store shelves due to possible samonella contamination. Even though there is no recall yet, Kellogg is advising consumers not to eat the crackers pending further investigation. Lil’ C loves these crackers but thankfully she has not been eating them lately. I am going to throw my box of crackers away just for safety’s sake.
Gosh. there seems to be more food contamination problem more than ever. Nowadays I hardly buy ground beef anymore due to the number of recalls. Kinda scary! I wish there would be a stricter QC before the food product leaves the factory rather than all these recalls later.

He did a great job landing the plane in Hudson river. In case you have not been following the news, this afternoon, US Airways 1549 headed from New York to Charlotte, North Carolina ran into trouble after take-off. Apparently just 3 minutes after take-off, the plane struck a flock of birds and caused the engines to die. But thanks to an awesome job by the pilot, the plane landed in Hudson river safely. There were some minor injuries but no major injuries. It could have been a lot worse.
