Double ouch! I don’t know which hurts more – my tooth or my wallet!! A few days ago, I started having a toothache. Took some Advil and hoped that it would go away. Well, it didn’t and I had to make that dreadful trip to the dentist, hoping that it might be a small problem. It ended up that I had to do an emergency root canal on the tooth immediately!! So an hour later, I left with a still painful tooth since it’s going to take a couple of days to recover and an empty wallet!!! I had no idea that root canals are SO expensive!! Luckily my dental insurance will cover some portion of it but it also means that I am hiting the limit on my insurance. So I will probably have to pay out-of-pocket on my next dental visit. 
Having said that, I am still thankful that I have insurance. Otherwise the damage to my wallet will be even worse.
at least u have dental insurance, i dont..sigh..
