Just My Rambling

Yay, another Random Tuesday Thought post! I totally missed the one last week. Anyway, did you notice that the back to school sales are not out in full force? I thought summer just started!! I am going to try to hold off on all back to school shopping as long as I can with some exceptions. I still want to enjoy my summer without worrying about all the school stuff.

Lil’ C is in VBS (vacation bible school) this week. This is her first time since she wasn’t old enough last year. But she made it this year and having a lot of fun. There was a little pouting at first when she discovered that her best friend was in a different class. But super mommy managed to do a little work and got the 2 of them in the same class. Now we have 2 happy 4-year olds.

I am hanging out at Starbucks while waiting for Lil’ C. I thought economy was bad, so why is the line so long?? I have been here for an hour and the long line of people has just been growing. I wonder if it’s the same everywhere or is it just here since I am in Starbucks town.

We’ve got 1 1/2 more months of summer holidays. One more camping trip this weekend and thinking of making a road trip to Banff in August. Any recommendations for lodging, food & activities?? Was originally planning to go to Whistler but there’s just too much construction going on in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Will probably get a better deal at the hotels after the games. Don’t you agree?
