Just My Rambling

If you are reading this in a feed reader, I’m sorry for spewing out a whole bunch of old posts. These were all the posts that I lost when I lost my blog. Thanks to a friend (Thanks A! ), I found my old posts and so I had to republish them. Phew, now my blog is back to normal, for now at least.

Frankly after I lost this blog and before I recovered everything, I was thinking whether I should even save this blog or not. When I started this blog, it was an outlet for my photography and mommy-rambling stuff. But now this blog has kinda lost its direction. With Lil’ C’s full load of activities, I hardly have time to dabble with all my photography and other hobbies any more, thus the lack of photos. For now, I have recovered this blog but I really think I seriously need to start thinking about the future of this blog. Maybe I should just concentrate on my food blog, especially since the traffic for my food blog is growing way more than I expected. Hmmmm…. decisions, decisions….

So sorry to those who dropped by my blog and could not find it. For some reason, my blog disappeared!! I have no idea whether it was hacked or it was just messed up but all my files were wiped out. So instead of spending time researching term life insurance, I ended up on the phone today with my web hosting trying to recover my blog. They managed to recover some of my files but they could not recover my WordPress database. Grr…. Luckily I had a backup on my laptop. Even though it is not as recent I had hoped it to be, at least I got most of my blog back minus a bunch of my latest posts. From now on, I need to make sure that I back up everyday or at least on the days that I post. If you do frequent backups like me, it might be a good time to start too. Sigh.. now I have to spend the next few days trying to figure out which posts are still missing. Wish me luck!

It’s been 3 weeks since school started for Lil’ C and a week since all her other activities started. Finally we are starting to settle down to a routine that works for both of us. I can’t believe how busy life with a 4 year old can be. Between school, ballet, gym and other activities, I find myself chauffeuring her all over town. Looks like I had better find some time to drop by my own gym soon or even the best weight loss supplements might not be able to help me.

The weather has been unbelievably gorgeous these couple of days. Blue skies, lots of sunshine and yet a little cool. This is the perfect weather. Hope that it stays this way at least for a while longer.

It was a longggg….. weekend because Lil’ C was sick over the weekend. Is it me or do all moms get a little antsy when their little ones fall sick. For me, I get super tense when she gets sick especially when she has fever. I think it is because of the seizure she had when she was 1. It was just before her first birthday and she had a febrile seizure from a fever which turned out to be roseola. Since then I have been super paranoid whenever she gets a little fever. Her fever is gone now but her cough is still lingering around. We skipped school today. Praying that she will be all better tomorrow. I’m just tired…..

I am sooooo…. glad it’s Friday! It has been a very long week. All of Lil’ C’s activities were in full swing this week and it was tough trying to get used to the new schedules & new routes. All these new schedules kept me busier than expected. That means I never got around to completing my own to-do which includes getting term insurance quotes and bill payments. It looks like I will have to sacrifice some of my weekend time to work on my to-do list otherwise it will be growing longer and longer.

Frankly I do not like to read newspapers because there is just so much bad news on it. Whether it is worldwide or locally, there is always something bad happening. Locally, there is at least an accident a day on the roads especially on the highways. I am sure that all these accidents keep the Seattle personal injury attorneys very busy. Now that school has started, the roads are busier than ever. Hopefully everyone will try to be more careful and patient, that way we may be able to avoid some of these accidents.

My little girl is obsessed with princesses. From books to dressing up, it is all about being a princess. Initially I thought this princess obsession phase will only last a short time but I think I am not seeing the end of the princess obsession tunnel anytime soon. This summer she watched a couple of princess movies and she has really been dancing all around the house as if she is dancing in a ball. She has also trying to get her daddy to dress up in a tuxedo like a prince while she dresses up in a ball gown. Sigh… I think daddy will be very happy when this obsession comes to an end.

Wait! Did I miss Tuesday? I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already. I guess yesterday was just a blur trying to get back into the swing of things after a long weekend. It was actually a nice relaxing long weekend. We didn’t do much as we were trying to recover from the first week of school. Plus it was raining cats & dogs which means it wasn’t fun going anywhere. The only thing we did was shopping. We had to stop at the shoe store to pick up shoes for Lil’ C. It’s hard to believe that she’s outgrown her shoes already. Hopefully this new pair will last her at least a year.
