This is a fun craft to do with your little ones for this Christmas season. It is also a good craft that you can just add one every year. The leaves are made using their handprint, so you can also see how much they have grown every year. As for the decorations, you can also make it a tradition for your child to write or draw something that they like. It will be so much fun to look back at these decorations a few years down the road.
Materials needed:
- A triangle piece of green poster (size depends on how big you want the tree to be.)
- A rectangle piece of brown paper for the tree trunk.
- Green construction paper
- Ornament template or stickers for ornaments
- pencils and crayons
Instructions:
- Trace your childs hands on a piece of paper
- Have your child cut it out (Good exercise for fine motor skills)
- Stick the handprints onto the tree
- Add ornaments
Have fun making it!
