It’s almost Spring Break

Published by under Rambling,Useful Links,V

One more week and school is out for Spring Break. I am really looking forward to it because we will be going away for a short vacation. We are heading to the beach for a much needed vacation. I am just going to sit on the porch of our rental house and just relax. Luckily it is still too cold to wear swimsuits because I am definitely not in the shape to wear swimsuits yet. Maybe some cissus quadrangularis will help to get me into a better shape. I also should start going to the gym to start getting into shape because summer is just around the corner and I would love to be able to spend a lot of time at the beach this summer.

Email housekeeping

Ugh! I do not like spam. No, not Spam as in the food but spam as in the unwanted soliciting mails that floods my email every day. Lately I have been receiving a lot of mail about free online dating sites and other things that I am not interested in. Sometimes I wonder where the sender gets their mailing lists. Luckily I have separate emails for different purpose and the spam usually floods those emails that I set up for fun. So when I get start getting too many unwanted mails, I will just delete those email account.

Busy weekend

Published by under Rambling,Useful Links,V

Phew, it was another busy but very fun weekend. We had out-of-town guests that stayed with us over the weekend. Lil’ C was overjoyed since our out-of-town guests include 2 little ones. We also met up with mutual friends with even more kids. We even managed to squeeze in a birthday party. Yes, more kids! It was a playdate galore the entire weekend. Needless to say, Lil’ C had the most fun. The house got all messed up and they played hide and seek and found a lot of lost treasures including Rocky Patel from behind the couch and under the bed. Unfortunately all fun has to end sometime. The guests left and now the house is all quiet again and I have an upset little girl on hand who is missing her friends.

Down with a nasty cold

Published by under Rambling,Useful Links,V

Just when I thought that we could get through this winter without a single cold, it got us with a big bang last week. It was such a nasty cold that I slept for 3 days because I just did not have any energy to get up from bed. Even now, I am still feeling like there is a fog around my head. But at least I am able to get out of bed now. I have been taking it easy and trying not to do too much things around the house. Hopefully next week I will all better so that I can start looking for a job with my it degree

Time flies!

Published by under Rambling,Useful Links,V

Can you believe that it is March already? I thought the New Year just started and now we are already into the 3rd month of the year. As my 6 year old says, time passes by in a flash. She’s definitely right! Next week I will have to start shopping at www.happyeasterstore.com for my Easter supplies since Easter will be here very soon. After that it will be summer and that will zip by even faster because we will be doing a lot of camping and road trips. Time flies really fast when you are having fun, right? I should stop wasting time complaining and start enjoying every minute of this express journey of life.

It’s clearance time

Published by under Rambling,Useful Links,V

Currently many stores are having their winter clearance sales. Apparently everyone has started stocking up their shelf with spring and summer stuff. So they are trying to get rid of all of their winter stuff. I managed to get a couple of winter jackets at a really great price. It’s too bad that they don’t have any whistler radar on sale. If they do, I might just consider buying one since we will be doing a lot of road trips in the summer. They also have lots of ski stuff on sale. I am wondering if I should get some ski equipments for C since I am planning to let her start her ski lessons the next winter.
