Just My Rambling

It’s a 3 day weekend! Yippeee…… It has been a crazy week so this will be a weekend of relaxation. Hopefully it will be with food and friends. I guess that is it for the diet this weekend. I will worry about working out next week. Maybe I should check out the best creatine to go along with my workout next week. I heard that it will make the workout more effective. Maybe? I am not sure. Oh well, I guess I should do a little more research first but for now, I am going to enjoy the weekend. Have a great weekend!

Father’s Day is just around the corner and I have no idea what to get for DH. For me, men’s gifts are the hardest to buy. Since I learned how to make jewelry recently, I should just make him some mens jewelery. I wonder what I should make. It will definitely not be cuff links or tie clips since he will never use either. I don’t think I have ever seen him wear a tie since his last job interview. I think I will probably make him a nice watch. That is something that he will probably wear everyday.

Nowadays I do not like to read the news. It seems like they are always full of sad news. Good news are rare and far in between. I am sure that there are a lot of good news happening around the world but I guess sad news are a lot more newsworthy. Just read about a bad work injury a few minutes ago. Hopefully the victim has some Texas Work Injury Attorney to help them get their compensation. Anyway, I accidentally turn on the news one day and my six year old was asking so many questions about all the nasty news that I just do not turn on the news anymore. I do not think she is quite ready to deal with all that’s happening nowadays.

Even though it is cold and wet outside, summer is just around the corner. It is hard to believe that C only has less than a month of school left. I wish the weather will warm up soon. I really want to spend some time cleaning up the backyard when the weather is warmer. I would love to plant some beautiful flowers like tulips in the backyard. The backyard is a little bare right now but with the help of some nice stepping stones and gorgeous flowers, it will be very nice. Oh weather, please warm up soon.

I have to admit that I have been very disorganized these couple of years. Between our move cross-country, new jobs, new house and everything else in between, I have not been able to keep up with all our household paperwork. A lot of paperwork had been thrown into boxes to be sorted out later but that later has dragged to almost four years now. This summer I am determined to sort through the mess and get all my paperwork organized again. The first pile of paperwork that I will start with are those that deals with 401K, social security disability and retirement and most probably, insurance. That pile alone will probably take a long time to go through. Sigh, it is going to be a long summer.

Last year when the cable company decided to phase out analog TV and stick with all digital, I was actually pretty excited. That was because I thought it was a good excuse to get rid of our old bulky TV. I really wanted to get a nice plasma TV for our living room. Unfortunately, the cable company decided that they would give converter digital to those who had analog service and that includes me! I guess I should be happy but I really wanted to find a good excuse to get rid of my old TV but now I can’t. Sigh, now I will have to think really hard of a good excuse to get rid of my old TV and buy a plasma TV

Lately I have been trying not to use any prescription medicine if I can help it. It is a little scary when there are always constant recalls on some of the medication. So I have been trying to do a little research on home remedies. Apparently there are a lot of home remedies on the internet. Whether they are really true remedies or not remain to been seen. I think I will try out a couple of remedies that I found especially the acne home remedies
and the home remedies for cold. If they work, it will be so awesome especially if the home remedies use natural products.

After a long and cold winter season, it is finally starting to get warm. Today was such a beautiful day with temperature hovering around the 60s. Needless to say, we were all outside getting as much sun as possible. Even though I should be staying indoors and doing some work like checking out rank pay reviews, I went for a long walk outside. It is not often that we have such warm weather and with no rain! Hopefully the rest of the week will be awesome too.
