Time to start baking again

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and that means it is time to start baking some yummy goodies. Every year I try to make just a small batch to give to neighbors and friends. This year is of no exception. I am not sure what I will be making yet but I know I will definitely make some pineapple tarts and pork jerky. Those are easy to make except for the fact that I waste a lot of time waiting for the oven. I have a small oven that can only bake a small batch at a time. Too bad I can’t use the laboratory oven that is sitting in my garage otherwise I will definitely take a shorter time to bake. Yum, I can’t wait to start baking!
