I was using my laptop last week when all of a sudden everything went blank! Of course I panicked. Wouldn’t you?? I thought that I had lost all my data on the laptop. Being technically challenged, I handed the laptop to my technical support aka the husband to check it out. To my relief, it was the battery that was dead, not the laptop!!

Ever since the day my daughter was born, I have been taking photos of her everyday. Since I am at home with her all day long, it is easy for me to capture lots of special moments. However when she started to walk, I had a hard time taking nice photos of her because she was always moving. The pictures always turned out blurry. That’s when I knew I had to get a camera with a higher shutter speed so that I can take clearer pictures.

So, I bought a Nikon D50 DSLR and I absolutely love it!! Now I am able to take beautiful pictures of my little girl. Instead of keeping the photos in my laptop, I think it’s about time for me to get some digital picture frames to display the photos in my house.

My dear husband has been feeling a little stressed at work lately. I think he needs a vacation. However due to his work situation, he is unable to take too many days off work, so I guess we’ll have to take several short breaks instead. The Las Vegas weekend breaks by DialAFlight seems like a good choice. The Weekend package includes cheap flights and accommodation. Once we’re there, maybe we can try to watch a few shows or just walk around the Strip and gawk at all the beautiful buildings. Hey, that sounds like a great vacation, doesn’t it?

Due to time constraint, we might just stay closer to home and choose to do the San Francisco City Breaks instead. A visit to the Alcatraz, a meal at Pier 39 and a tour of the Golden Gate Bridge will do wonders too. I wonder which option my husband prefers.

I love fireplaces and since it gets pretty cold here in the winter, I use my fireplace a lot. However, I don’t have a fireplace in my basement, so I have been thinking about getting a wall heater.
