This show is about Mary Shannon (played by Mary McCormack) who leads a double life as a US Marshall working for the highly secretive Federal Witness Protection Program. Along with her partner, Marshall Mann (played by Fred Weller), they protect and manage relocated Federal Witness from all over the country. These witnesses who come from all walks of life all have a common ground. Someone wants them dead because they all had the misfortune of either witnessing or falling victim to a crime. Watch as Mary deals with the complicated situations of these witnesses while juggling an equally complicated personal life.
