For today’s theme, I am actually going to reuse a couple of photos that I have used previously. These are a couple of bridges around this area.

This is the Bridge of the Gods that span the Columbia River linking Cascade Locks, Oregon and Stevenson, Washington.

The Deception Pass Bridge which connects Whidbey Island to Fidalgo Island in Washington State

For this week’s theme “furry”, meet my furry friend! Cute, eh? Looks so huggable but I would probably stay far away. This was taken at Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Washington.

Another cute furry friend but this one’s definitely huggable if only she would sit still! : P

These were taken when we were on vacation in California 2 years ago. It was in one of those crazy hat store at Pier 39 in Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco. The little one loved trying on all the funny HATS.
She loves this colorful hat

But not quite sure what to do with this lobster hat! : P

This week’s theme is Aftermath. I decided to dig out these photos taken way back in September 2004.
These were the aftermath of Hurricane Frances in Florida. We came out of it with minimal damage to the city but the trees got the brunt of the 100+ mile wind force.

A huge tree that got uprooted and shredded to a little mountain. Notice how big the tree is compared to the truck.

Another unfortunate tree!

The banana trees remained standing but they were badly damaged.
2 weeks after this hurricane, we got hit by another hurricane that took almost the same path. Needless to say, it was an interesting hurricane season that year.

How wide can an eagle stretch stretch its wings? Apparently very WIDE!

This was taken at Juneau, Alaska. Look how tiny my little girl’s hands are when compared to the wings! The wings are measuring 7 1/2 feet on each side.

Last weekend we were at Seattle Center checking out all the WinterFest activities. There were so many fun things to see but this was probably Lil’ C’s FAVORITE FUN PLACE. It had her screaming & laughing the whole time we were there. Why? Check out the photos to see the reason….
At first glance, it was just a calm half-dome structure

Then people started going nearer & touching the dome

Oh-oh….. run, run, run . . . . . . .

Here comes the water!!! Some people got caught by the water & were soaked.

The water fountain in full blast. See the couple of kids waiting on the side for the next opening to get to the center without getting soaked?

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve done Photo Hunt. Life has been a whirlwind for the last month. Anyway, I am back with this week’s Photo Hunt. This week’s theme is Breakfast and I have lots of that in my food blog. So how about some . . . . . . .
Crepe with chocolate sauce

Or Pretzel

Or Dim Sum

No, I do not eat like this everyday. These are usually what we eat for weekend brunch. : P

Don’t you just love blue skies? Well I do especially if it’s during the fall season. We have been having amazing weather for the month of October. It is a little unusual to have so many blue sky days. Usually it’s gloomy and rainy this time of the year. Hopefully this is a good sign of a mild winter ahead. Hope you all are having great weather wherever you are. Thanks for visiting my PhotoHunt. Have a great weekend , everyone.

We were at the pumpkin patch yesterday when we saw this SCARY looking Jack-o-lantern. I am sure that it will look scarier when it’s lighted up at night. C was a little afraid of the pumpkin and that was as close as I could get her near the pumpkin.
